The development of the surface plays an important role in my work. Images coexist with abstraction. Layers of paint and textured materials create an alchemical and sensuous paint skin. Forms merge into the landscape of paint. Other times I pour and layer paint in a liquid and flowing manner, letting organic forms become fragmented and veiled.
